We are an all-volunteer, non-profit organization whose purpose is to support and enrich the cultural life of the community of Blackstone and to promote a program of assistance through volunteer help and fundraising that will enable the library to keep pace with the growth of the town.

We organize fundraisers and run the semi-annual book drives that help support materials and adult and children's programs not covered in the library's budget. We fund the very successful museum and zoo pass program and sponsor events and performers for the children's library. Monthly Friends meetings are held at the library.

Our next meeting will be Tuesday, October 21st, at 7 pm at the Blackstone Public Library.
